Englisch Sommercamp in Toronto

Englisch & Praktikum in Wexford/Irland

"Hello! The weather is still the same here in Wexford. It changes between rain and sunshine. The trip to Dublin was eventful. We went on a sightseeing tour bus around the city and saw beautiful places. One day was not enough, if you want to see all of Dublin you have to stay longer than a day. It has many interesting things to discover e.g. many cathedrals, museums and shops. On Tuesday we went to an Irish dancing lesson. It was very funny and we laughed a lot. It was very difficult to learn, but I think everybody should learn an Irish dance. Last night, there was dog racing in Enniscorthy which we really enjoyed, unfortunately I did not win any money! This is a place that lots of families can go and have fun. On Sunday, I am leaving Ireland. I have really enjoyed the time here, I have improved my English and have met nice people."

Englisch & Praktika in Wexford Update

Neues von Nadja aus Wexford:

Hi! The last days the weather has been nice. It wasn’t as warm as the days before, but at least it did not rain! Yesterday we went to visit Kilmore Quay. It’s a fishing village not far away from Wexford town. This is a beautiful place to taste different kinds of fish. I ate the traditional fish and chips. Delicious!
“Maggie Mays” is another nice pub in Wexford and it’s very close to the main street. The atmosphere is more modern then in “The Sky and The Ground” and you can also enjoy a pint of Guinness and traditional music. If you like going out and dancing, then the Stores is the right place to go. The Stores is night club and always very busy. Different from Germany this night club is not only for young people. People of all ages can enjoy the Stores. Tomorrow we are going to Dublin. I’m very exciting…

Englisch & Golf in Wexford Update

"Hello everybody! Today I tell you about my experience on the Wexford golf course. It is an eighteen holes golf course. In my opinion the front nine are easier and more beautiful than the back nine. Especially the holes five until 8 are very nice holes. You are able to see the coast from there. My absolutely favourite hole is the fifth hole. It is a short downhill par 4 you can reach with your first shot. All in all the Wexford golf course is a nice golf course which is difficult to play if it is blowing a gale and the greens are being fast. In my second round I was one under par until the fifteenth and in the end I played a 74. " Marcel

"Hello everybody! My name is Marcel and I stay here in Ireland for 5 weeks to improve my English. This is my third week. I really enjoy my language stay in Wexford. My homestay family is absolutely lovely. On my first day in Ireland their granddaughters took me to the cinema and on the second I played golf with my host father and four other family members. It is a really big family and every day someone visits us. Therefore I am not able to feel alone. =) Normally I am happy to be graduated, but I really enjoy being in the Slaney language school. I meet there many people from different countries and it is always funny. In my free time I often go on the golf course, usually it is very windy and every time it could start raining. However the last few days the sun was always shining. In the evening I fancy going out with some other students from my language school to a pub. Usually we meet some locals there. All people in Ireland are so friendly and they are always smiling when they are able to help people especially tourists. A trip to Ireland is to be recommended. Now I am looking forward to see what is going to happen next!"

Englisch & Praktikum in Wexford/Irland

Hi! My name is NadjaSuslov and this is my second week in Wexford. I´m here to improve my English. I feel that am improving daily. The first days were a little bit difficult, but now I feel more confident, because the people in the school and in the town are very friendly. M English is getting better day by day. I really have to get used to the Irish weather. It rains a lot, so you definitely need an umbrella. I´m very lucky, because for the last 3 days the sun has been shining. This is unusual according to Irish people. Wexford has beautiful beaches. I was on three of them. The beach in Curracloe is close to Wexford and it looks lovely. I also went to Hook Lighthouse last Sunday. It´s the oldest operational Lighthouse in the world. The landscape around the Lighthouse is sensational. We went for a walk and it was very nice. In the evening I often go to a pub to meet other students and locals. There I can talk
with folks and exchange experiences. I have met different people from different countries and it´s a great experience. You can learn from each other. I´m enjoying the time in Wexford and I look forward to what will be happen next.
